Dutch East India Co. bronze cannon cast 1702

Now here's what I call a summer clearance sale. http://www.shipsalvage.net/VOC-Cannon.html

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

I could be wrong but this gun/carriage looks exactly like some from the Visser collection which is or has been sold off ?

If fact the dolpines are very close to the ones on my VOC gun 1660 which is on the GBO calendar this year in the month of Jan.  ;D

The dolpines are very close , but mine was of a 2.5 lber ,not some 96 inch monster .
