Yet another incident of black flash mobs launching racially motivated attacks against innocent white people....the media is largely silent. Chicago, New York, Boston, Minneapolis, South Carolina, Florida....This is a race war against white people and the media is silent.

We're at the biginning of the downhill slide!It's going to get a whole lot worse in the next couple years. When these punks find out how to ''gang up'' for things like this, they'll start home invasions,bank robbery's, their already hitting Walmarts and the like. And, when the govt. checks disappear or get much smaller, adding fuel to the fire. I'm afraid there is going to be trying times ahead. gypsyman

I just want to state that when David Dinkins (a black man) was Mayor of NYC from 1990 to 1993, NYC had similar type problems. It was a bad time with highly charged racial tensions. Basically it seemed like the blacks felt it was their time. They caused quite a few problems and situations against any group that wasn't black, this included Hispanics, Jews, Asians, etc. It seemed that the blacks thought they were exempt from the law, and in some ways they were. The police were told to handle them with kids gloves.
You can google it if you want. It seems to be the same situation today with a black President. Just stating the facts, you can make you own assumption.

Here is the assumption I can make. In 2000 I had a fella who worked for me, he was a hard charger would do any task given. I rewarded that effort and gave him promotions and pay raises. In January 2008 this fella just suddenly stopped working. He would argue at the drop of hat, showed up to work late, chatted on the telephone with personal calls for a couple of hours. Any time he was asked or told anything to do he would just completely ignore it. After a few counseling seesions he decided every one was a racist. He went to human resources and reported me for using racial slurs etc. I talked to the HR rep and said why after 8 years and 20k in raises and promotions would I all the sudden start using racial slurs etc. The HR rep agreed it would be very unusual. He was moved to a different work group so he wouldn't have to face all this racist stuff. He still does nothing at work but his future is about to be freed up for non performance. 3 years of this and finally he will be gone. I imagine I will be named in the lawsuit etc. How do I know that he has a sense of entitlement? In January 2008 he stod up at the branch safety meeting and proclaimed now was his time, he would finally have a fair shot. Unless of some redneck piece of white trash killed the president. I was shocked and amazed that he actually said this garbage. He went from hard worker to fool real fast. He conitnually plays the race card and has HR on speed dial. Hopefully soon he will find out what it's like in the unemployeement line.

Draw your own conclusions. I don't believe in trying to keep anyone down. I am just fed up with nonsense.

Not sure how many black guys are at GBO or not. I don't think skin color really makes a difference. I know there are those who disagree with that statement. I do know racism when I see it. I do know when someone drops the race card for no real reason.
To me skin color, gender, political preference, wealth, and religion do not matter. It is the conduct of the individual that means the most. Just my 2 cents.

Here in La. most people carry some type of firearm in their vehicle. We even have a "shoot the car-jacker" Law. Had something like this happened at the La. State Fair, I guarantee it would have made the headlines.

To me the race card is not taking responsibilty for ones actions and blaming people of other races when you don't get what you want.
Example; showing up for work late, bad attitude, yells at coworkers, refuses to do work- fired for this behavior. Employee believes if he was white he wouldn't have been fired.

Looks like the Mayor of Philly has had enough and is taking a stand... parents of youths involved in flash mobs will be jailed along with their kids. I like it! It's about time parents are forced to be more responsible for their children's actions.

To that end, Nutter said that parents who are called to pick up a child breaking curfew will be issued a warning on the first occasion. On subsequent violations, fines can increase to $500.

If you do not pick up your child, Nutter said the Department of Human Services would be contacted and you could be taken to court for other violations, including neglect of your child.

Nutter also noted that strict enforcment began over the weekend and 12 minors were cited for breaking curfew.

This comes a day after Nutter delivered a fiery speech at the congregation at Mount Carmel Baptist in West Philadelphia Sunday speaking of the violent coordinated attacks that have broken out in Center City, the most recent the Friday before last. A gang of 20 to 40 kids, including one 11-year-old, attacked two people at random. Four people were arrested and charged.

"They didn't do ONE thing," Mayor Nutter told the congregation. "Then all of a sudden, for the cowards that some of them are, in the crowd, thought they were anonymous, jumped up and started beating on people - assaulting them in the streets of this city."

Starting last Friday afternoon and through the weekend, you could see a visible and heavy police presence in Center City - on foot, on bikes, even mounted patrol. The city's curfew law was strictly enforced. Children under 13 home by 10 - young people between 13 and 18 by midnight.

Community leaders could be distinguished by their IPledge t-shirts. The mayor walked with them Saturday night in a show of strength.

"So, if you want to be aggressive, we're going to be aggressive. And let me just share this with you. We've got the biggest, baddest gang in town - a committed group of citizens and a committed government and we're working together and we're not going to have this nonsense anymore," pledged the mayor.

The mayor says officials have seen many residents, business and community leaders step forward and offer their help with this effort, including registering their security cameras with the city in the police department's new Safe Cam initiative.
