hunting traditions
« on: August 01, 2011, 01:13:15 PM »
I don't remember who started it but............
One year someone cut an ear off a hanging deer and threw it into a friend's truck as he was leaving deer camp.
It has become a tradition to put an ear somewhere on someone's property, in their car, or in their media tumbler. ;D
I think I am winning so far.
My 9 year old daughter set it on his kitchen counter. I knew he could not resist. After a while he went in the kitchen to get a beer and I heard pop goes the weasel playing.

I believe I have taken the deer ear game to the next level. It's not enough to put it in someones car anymore. He put one in my daughter's backpack as we were leaving. Kind of lame now.
It's all about the presentation and artistic content now. I'm curious to see where this leads. ;D

The key to such games is to infiltrate places your opponent deems private and impenetrable such as his lock box at the bank.  Assistance of a relative was necessary for this one but it did work.  Having an item show up someplace like with a restaurant order becomes possible, although a deer ear might present issues here.  You see, I've played a similar game before.

When we were younger, my older brothers used to pick on my brother Andy because he had big ears. One Christmas, one of them got a tape recorder. They stood around it saying ears, ears, EARS!!! over and over while it recorded. They then hid it in a return vent, turned it up loud then left. the house. Upon hearing the chants, my brother Andy was furious! He raced through the house from room to room, searching for our brothers screaming, "I'm going to kill you a$$h*les!!
Haha!!
Another year, we were butchering a hog & hid a pig ear under his pillow!
