Linebaugh Custom 475... Recently the opportunity to acquire one reared its head and I was able to satisfy the requirements to close the deal... The previous owner describe it as:
"...This gun was made by John in 1990 as part of a series to commemorate the Wyoming statehood Centennial. 100 guns were planned, about 62 were built. There were only a few made in 475, and this gun is one of them. The top of the barrel is marked 1890-Wyoming-1990, and the top of the receiver is marked 1 of 100. The Linebaugh serial # in front of the trigger guard is 1, the first of this series according to John. It has a 5 1/2" banded barrel with a Colt style ejector, and a scalloped loading gate. Bowen rear sight and a ramp front sight. The gun has Sheephorn grips fitted by Dustin Linebaugh. The gun has a leather sheepskin lined rug that was made for this gun by Rick Waltner of Columbus, MT. ..."

Yup, me too! I think I'd even pass up an engraved Colt for one of those!
