Has anybody out there shot some of the 30 grain Bergers out of there 22-250 Ackley improved?????? If so what kind of loads are you running? I like to use H414 so that would be most helpful. I have looked all over and have not found any reccomendations out there?

Hank, what on earth are you going to do with 30 grainers from a 22-250? that is a very lite slug compared to the 50/55 gr. normally used! That thing might blow up in flight. Most 22-250 are twisted 1/14" ,this is too fast for velocities much over 4000fps.Those 30 gr. pills will easily go beyond that!

haven't tried that, but it sounds like a interesting idea to me,

all i can say is if you want to try it do so, but probably only load like 10 rounds in order to prevent waste if they are breaking up.

when i get my dies for my 22-250 i plan to load some 35grn v-max bullets in it. (for kicks :) )

good luck

L

ps let us know how it works
