Decisions, Decisions!
« on: August 15, 2011, 05:51:18 AM »
Local Dick's has a scoped .308 with camo stock for $199.

Ain't got brass or dies in that caliber, but I'm feeling a strong temptation!

Well, I went back and it followed me home! $213 and change with Indiana sales tax.

Now I gotta buy brass, dies---. Is there no end to this madness?

Short answer...apparently not. No one seems to be working on a cure. Few recover. ;D ;D

Dave29,

It was at the Indianapolis Washington Square store, and it was the only one that they had. The sales clerk told me that closeouts vary from store to store. You might call around and see if others stores have any.

I couldn't have walked out without that deal and I don't even NEED a 308.

I am rounding up reloading stuff for my last purchase now.

Going to the local gun shop this afternoon. Hope I don't find anything I can't live without. YEA, RIGHT.
My remember'er is broke, but my forgetter is getting better.

Tried my 357 maxi barrel on the 308 frame and it fits like it was made for it!

I'm pleased with my purchase so far. Hope to shoot a few 308s through it in a day or two. :)
