Taking my metal detector with me on my hunting trip this year.

Last winter I helped an old miner move into town.  He had 12 of the plastic coffee cans full of what he called concentrates.  He had been working this claim for over 12 years, and had told me over the years, he only cashed in what it took to keep the mine running.  Each of the cans was so heavy I could not pick it up.  We had to slide them down a plank, off the bench into my sled.  When we got him to his house, he refused to let us unload the sled  He took the sled of the trailer with a fork lift.  He said he would return it to me in a couple of days.  I estimate each can weighed over a hundred pounds.  We know he was bringing out gold, he paid his employees in gold at the end of each season.

Have not seen him since.  Heard he sold his claim and left the state.

Gold is only worth $1900 an ounce if someone actually hands you that much cash for it.  Until that happens it's just meaningless numbers.

It's an indication that the dollar is worth less.

It is predicted to go to $2,500 an ounce because of inflation.  Inflation has actually been running about 10% the last 3 years regardless of what the government says.  Find some old receipts from the grocery store and compare prices.  Also, sizes they sell are getting smaller.  Have you sized toilet paper lately.  It is about 1/4"-1/2" more narrow than a few years ago.  By cutting sizes and portions even if the prices are the same, actually costs more.  Federal Reserve has dumped about several trillion dollars into the economy the last 3 years.  Can't help but have inflation.  It may get hyper before it is over or the Federal government will go bankrupt.

A lot of companies switch to a metric size bottle that is just smaller than the old one.  Or the bottle is downsizing to three quarts instead of a gallon.  Yes I have noticed the price of food and everything else has gone up.  Everything took a big jump when we started using our food supply to make fuel.

old syko...you are right.  however, that exactly what is happening.   if you dont have it already, it is too late to  get in the game now (unless of course you find it).
