Testing the Micro Dahlgren Barbette Cannon

I decided to test the Dahlgren barbette to see how the upper carriage and chassis would react before shipping it to the new owner.  The first video is with 20 grains of FFFg and a .360" lead ball, second video, 10 grains FFFg and same type ball and third video 5 grains and ball.  The 5 grain load with a block of wood seem to tame it down a bit.  Dom

5 grains ! wow I would not have expected that much recoil .
 
Did you hit anything ? BTW the parrot you made me is near unbelivable 8)  the sights make it deadly accurate It was awsome in Mt.

Rocklock, I read that post and it's impressive.  I've learned with smoothbores it's all about range.  If your target is with it's range of accuracy, it's very accurate.  I target shoot at about 20 feet with small smoothbores with good results.  The SAMCC cannon shoots that DD posted, proved the accuracy of these small cannons.  ;D   Dom
