Grips for LCR
« on: December 06, 2011, 03:59:04 PM »
Have an LCR with factory grips.  The grips seem to stick on cloths when I carry inside pocket or inside jacket pocket.  Are there any grips for the LCR that are smooth ???

Thanks for replies.

Only other grip I've seen for an LCR is the Crimson Trace which looks somewhat smoother, but is pricey.

Thanks for the reply.  Maybe the LCR is too new or not enough sold for the custom grip builders to make any yet.

I believe I read that Ruger felt that wood or solid grips would be too painful in recoil with such a light gun.  My wife's "Pink Lady" has rubber grips also and it's 1oz lighter than the Ruger.  ;)

There is a "boot grip" that I have seen previously on some .38 Special versions.  It is smaller and I believe the feel is less sticky.  It might be tough to hang on to for .357 Magnum though.  You can find the three grips offered by Ruger for the LCR.

Also, there is also this one website offering a wood grip for the LCR:

‎Is it really Zombie Max, if it's not .357 Max?

Good link on the Eagle, I'd heard of them before, but never had a link.  Added to my list.  ;)  Good lookin wood grip too.
