Small ding in brass ?
« on: September 17, 2011, 09:57:24 AM »
I shot my Bar o6 yesterday and when I picked up the brass there would be a small dent in the neck of the brass  where the bullet gos in.(factory loads) is this normal or anything to worry about ?

As to the guy who asked about a factory load for elk. I'm a two elk expert but the 180 Remington core lock sure did the job on one and the Federal Hi-shock did the same.

Had a Ruger Mini in 6.8 that did the same thing, assumed it was the semi-auto extraction. Looked like a small dimple in the neck area.
