I have a Model 439 that has virtually no trigger travel in double action, but when the hammer is cocked there is a good 1/2" to 3/4" of travel. Also, the trigger pull in single action is close to being what the trigger pull is in double action. I know this is beyond my knowledge of gunsmithing and I would like to get some feedback on my problem. Also, who is a professional gunsmith that specializes in S-W triggers?
