More "stimulus plan" stupidity..
« on: August 31, 2011, 12:52:16 PM »
  B Hussein puts our kids in hock to the tune of nearly $ 1,000,000,000,000 by way of a "stimulus plan".. Most of it has fail   ed and the money gone ...but the kids will still have to pay, long after jumpshot is whiling away his retirement in the Kenyan sunshine.
   Last year B Hussein was bragging about spending big on "green energy"..something cooler business heads warned him, was a "non starter"':        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7OmuRrF-Uk

    Here's what happens when a "community organizer" refuses to listen to brighter, more experienced people..:

   http://in.reuters.com/article/2011/08/31/solyndra-idINN1E77U0ZF20110831

        From the article;
   "We smelled a rat from the onset," Representatives Fred Upton of the Energy and Commerce Committee and Cliff Stearns of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee said in a joint statement. "In this time of record debt such disregard for taxpayer dollars cannot be tolerated."

Another "green" company hits the dust..to China
  http://www.masshightech.com/stories/2009/11/02/daily41-Evergreen-Solar-moves-manufacturing-to-China.html

   More liberal lunacy...Put million$$ of public funds in "green stuff"..then tax them out of the country..this from the article:

      " Yet despite narrowing operating losses year over year by 73 percent to $6 million, a heavy tax hit resulted in Evergreen posting a net loss of $82.4 million".

   Of course, the firm still wasn't showing an honest profit..

Here is an economic law explained clearly by Henry Hazlitt:

Jobs can only come from increased production. Increased production comes from capital investment. Capital investment comes from the savings that people deposit in banks loaned to business. Government has no money except that which it extracts from the people, destroying available capital.

Now if government would close the doors and go home, we would have plenty of jobs. There is always work that needs to be done and if the capital had been left in the private sector, jobs would happen. This is basically why the socialist countries all failed; too much government.

People are not taught basic economics in school and too many think that government can create jobs. Sometimes those in government also believe the lie. Tea party people see that it has not worked, but don't know why. A few have read Hazlett, Mises, Tom Woods, Ron Paul, and they know.

The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson
