How many .445s?
« on: September 01, 2011, 02:48:20 AM »
A while back, someone posted that they thought there were about 15 on the forum.  How many do we actually have?

I have one standard 22 inch.

I would really like to go the 445 SM route. But haven't yet, :-[  since my current 44 bbl is a 16.5"shorty, wearing a Tamer stock set, which punching it out to the the 445 could result in 45-70 like recoil.  :o  So does "wishing or wanting" a 445 count for 1/2 a point ;D ? Drat! I didn't think so.

Mines in a 14" Contender! The performance is excellent at this point of development - still working up loads.

Rotten RJ, Until today my 18 inch .38-55 was on a BC Carbine stock set.  I just changed it to a checkered walnut pistol grip with a recoil pad.  I've been shooting some hot and heavy loads in it recently.  To say it got a tad uncomfortable is an understatement.  I think it'll be fine with the new butt stock.  You could do the same with your .44 when you reamed it.

Guys.....should we feel sorry for him and go ahead and give him the half a point?

If I had a .445 or a .500 in a wheel gun, I'd hang it over the mantle and let only unwanted visitors shoot it ;D ;D ;D

The count is 8 so far not counting a couple of non-handies.

I have two Dan Wesson revolvers in .445SM and as soon as a handi-rifle barrel comes along there'll be another one!
