Not new for $350, but the Rock Island Armory .45 1911 basic military clone comes close, at about $400. I have one, and its a well made, all steel pistol. Have about 1500 rounds thru mine now, with no issues. I thought highly enough of it I mounted a Burris Fastfire sight on mine. Is it a Kimber, or Colt? No, but pretty darn close, and a very serviceable pistol. The Ruger P series are also well made, but under rated guns. They can be hard to find used though, in 45 acp. I would stay away from the Llama and Star pistols. Inexpensive, but not real reliable, at least with the couple I have owned. Lots of .40 police Glock turn ins on the market. Might be able to find one with some finish wear in that price range. A lot of these guns are carried often, but shot infrequently. S&W Sigmas can be bought for $400 or less, new, sometimes. Some like them, some don't, but the newer ones seem to be reliable, from what I have read.
