custom made peep sight

I have a Henry BB .44 Magnum.. the factory sights just are not the best for me... on the rear sight there is a small screw to adjust the small plate that has the white diamond on it.. this screw is to the right and just below the normal notch in the sight... so i removed the screw completley and then i moved the sight to the left until the screw hole was aligned center on the front sight post... i shot it yesterday and it was way better than the factory sights... its just temporary untill i order my skinner peep sights... just thought i would let yall know...

way to improvise, have skinner peep ordered  for win. 1894, i may try this on my 357 henry until the verdict on the skinner peep comes in.

A peep trumps open sights every time.  I like'em much better than a scope.

well i was experimenting some more and i put my screw back in and got the drill out... i just driled a hole directly on top of the white diamond... now everything is centered.. it looks really good... and still fully adjustable...
