.270 Ruger Round Top
« on: October 10, 2011, 02:45:46 PM »
A local pawn shop has a round top M77 in .270 Winchester for $349.95 in fair condition.  It has Weaver bases on it.  The bore looks nice.  I'm sure I can get it for some less.  I find it very comfortable to shoulder and point.  What say ye?

Must be a typo. Did you say RUGER or Remington? Surely I misread that.

great price on a round top. Ive had one in 7mag and one in 06 and never really warmed up to the old ruger stock though. Its like a 2x4 to me. Niether one was an exceptional shooter either.

Accuracy is my concern.  I wish I knew if it was a Douglas or a Wilson barrel.

Hey Swamp....has it been rebarrelled????  If so that I'd say it's a good deal.  If not...pass.
