Homemade grips?
« on: September 25, 2011, 04:22:05 PM »
How many here have made their own grips? Do you have any pics of process? Where do you get supplies? How do you finish them? I'm looking to start a detailed thread about the process, materials and just about anything to help beginners like me. David D has been a real help and he is a master. Thanks in advance for any help and hopefully this thread will do good and be added as a sticky. I know I am not the only one that would like to give it a try.

thanks, Austin

I've thought about getting some imitation ivory and trying to talk my wife into making some revolver grips for me.  I'll be watching for your tutorial.
