Lyman easy loader
« on: July 05, 2011, 12:29:35 PM »
I need to find an owners manual or instructions for a lyman easy loader. I bought this easy loader at a sale it appears to have both 12ga and 410 conversion. Thanks Trapdoor33

I modified this some so it isn't reading as a WTB ad.  Rickyp

Hey Trapdoor,
I just saw your post and didn't know if you had found a manual, yet.
I'm quite fond of the Easy Shotshell Loader and have three set up, one for parts, and two on permanent loan (I get first chance if the guys want to sell them). I started using them about twelve years ago when I needed to load 3/4-ounce 20's for my 10-year old daughter. These are high-quality tools and it pains me that Lyman no longer builds them or supports the owners with a parts supply.
The best manual is in the Lyman #2 Shotshell manual. These can be found on eBay and other places with used books. There is a bushing guide and detailed instructions. I have some books and reprinted pages, but they are nowhere near as good as the Lyman manual, which is a great primer on the loading process as well.
If you absolutely can't find a book on your own, get back to me and I'll try to help you out.
