I am writing a book on Texas Longhorn Arms - update inside
« on: February 11, 2010, 05:39:02 AM »
As many of you know, I have officially started on a book about Texas Longhorn Arms and Bill Grover.  What started as a multi-year personal research project on serial number/parts variation data on the Number Five has ballooned in recent months to encompass TLA's history and all the models they made.

To that end, Boge Quinn and I have collaborated on a website to generate interest in and data for the book.  It is found at www.TLABook.com.  The site is very basic now, but we have plans for much more content and updates on the book's progress.

Obviously, the higher the site ranks with search engines, the better it is for the project, so we welcome regular visits.  Also, if you have pictures, data, or stories about Bill Grover/TLA you'd like to share for the book and/or site, I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for your support!

Have you ever been published?

You are correct.  Yes, I have been published, but articles, not books.  I know some people who are attached to the gun publishing industry, but we'll see if that helps or not.

Just because it is hard doesn't mean I'm not going to give it the ole college try.  It does help that no one has ever written a book on the subject before.  Given the amount of factory documents I now own, I doubt anyone could do it without my dying at this point, either.  :)

Good luck on your book.
