A hunting bud got one befor last season in 20ga. The gun is great looking and shoots lights out groups. It's heavy but not to heavy. I think it's worth every penny. I got to tell ya he's used a 37 smooth bore for years and someone bent the barrel. He went on a tour of the factory and asked how much to straighten the barrel. One of the guys there straightend it and said no charge. Now mined you this was a NY. made gun and the guy that fixed it was the Ohio Ithica owner!
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

I own an H&R ultra slugger hunter and love it.  However, I watched a video of a guy shooting Ithaca deerslayer 3 and he shooting 4 inch groups at 200 yards.  If you have the money, I would definitely by this gun.

Way overpriced IMO. You can get a new Savage 220 or H&R Ultra Slug Hunter for a lot less and both will shoot better.
