anti's are using our less informed against us
The gun coalition to stop guns is using our gun owners against us. A while back I posted a link on the field and stream survey well these clowns picked the ones they could use and of course did not use the ones that were against them. Still this shows that lots of American gun owners figure that we will always have our guns and no one will try to take them. They better wise up as there are more of them than the ones of us that are active NRA, GOA ect members or are active on sites like this. WE better start waking up folks as these folks are well organized and just want to take our guns away. Here is just one sneaky example of misinformation as they only took part of it and not the whole picture.

Field and Stream Survey: Hunters Show Support for Some Gun Violence Prevention Measures

Field and Stream
July 2003

Over three months, last spring, Field & Stream magazine took an informal survey on www.fieldandstream.com of 2,897 F&S readers about the state of hunting in America. The current issue of magazine contains results of its survey outlining the state of hunting. The survey is mostly concerned with hunting, but does contain a few important questions concerning gun violence prevention.

15. Do you consider assault-style rifles to be legitimate sporting guns?

67% No
33% Yes

28. Do you think people who want to purchase rifles and shotguns should be given background checks before they are allowed to buy the guns?

66% Yes
34% No

29. Do you belong to the National Rifle Association?

57% No
43% Yes

Check out the entire survey...

can be skewed in many ways.

One needs to be cautious in answering pollsters.

One poll comes to mind from a telephone company attempting to recruit favorable to them replies.

The question went as such:  Sir, do you think that there are some in the US who do not need to own firearms?

Depending on your answer, this question would be used to show that most favor some form of gun control, unless you answer in a way not anticipated by them.

My reply was that I do not care who owns firearms, as long as I am allowed to own mine.

Each time that I used this reply, the conversation was terminated!
I am, therefore, I think.

This is unfortunately nothing new. Their allies, the liberal news media, always try to interview the two guys at a gun show, NRA meeting, etc., who are: overweight, unshaven, speak with a southern accent, and have either a CAT diesel or RedMan hat on.

I found this particularly ironic when I was shooting a range with doctors, and other assorted professionals. I also know at least one gun owner who fits their stereotype who could buy and sell most of them. He and his wife are both contractors to NASA, BTW.
