Pachmayr forend on octagon barrel??

I was wondering how well an octagon 10" fits with a Pachmayr forend. My recent octagon barrel is on layaway for a little bit. Any pics??

If your talking about the g2 forend I have a 10 inch octagon on the way I will tell you when it gets here. Old pachmayr had hanger bars didn't they? Don't know about them.

The Pachmyer Contender fore-end uses a hanger bar as Austin states.

Dunno if it'll work on the octagonal barrels due to the taper. The rear screw will line up but don't know how sturdy it'll be.

Sounds good. Do you bypass the hanger and just mount through the forend hole into the barrel? My octagon barrel has the hole "in the middle"

I think  my .357 is a 6 inch oct, and looks cool with the pacs on it. It has the hanger bar but i think it just uses one of the holes. I also have the pac gripper grip on the back, sorta looks like a manlicker. sp
