Santa (my wife) bought me a new Henry 22.
« on: December 25, 2011, 02:03:31 PM »
I opened up my new Henry .22.  It appears to be a fine gun for the price.  The wood to metal fit isn't perfect but its not a very expensive gun.  The trigger is ok for a factory job.  I let my wife hold it and shoulder it and her words were.  "I think I bought myself a new gun".  It sounds like I may be fighting her for it.  Can't wait to shoot it.

I hope there were some CB Shorts is your stocking. Fun gun.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

I won't be shooting any shorts.  I will probably be shooting CCI mini-mags.  This will be my squirrel rifle now that the leaves are mostly gone.  I mounted a BSA sweet 22 3-9x32.  It's a good fit for the rifle.  I will sight it in this coming weekend.
