One of my Swedes is a Kimber custom job with a ramline stock. It is a sleek, light, smooth, and good-shooting gun. Although light with a 21 1/2" barrel, it doesn't recoil much more with a scope than my 23 1/2" barreled Swede with a fairly heavy stock. I would recommend the ramline stock for anyone wanting a synthetic stock. I had mine shortened with a Pachmyr recoil pad for my daughter's length of pull, and I add a rubber slip-on kick pad to make it right for my length of pull. The Pachmyr recoil pad cost @$60 installed by my local gunsmith but I highly recommend it to make the buttstock feel more comfortable settled against your shoulder. The aforementioned ability to switch LOP is also a big plus. It also makes what little kick the Swede has feel more like a .223 instead of a deer gun.
