this isa non-typical buck from my swamp... hesa been hide'n out too long from me :o  i knows he isa there now, ana i thought i've spotted him before but, tha grandkids says i'm loose'n it ::)
sho-nuff, he is here and will be hunted hard by me and only me.
one like this'n deserves a "flop-job" an ain't nutten better for that thana
trapper in 45/70 ;D  wif my kind load..... and kind don't mean reduced... no!!
i'd guess bout 140-150lbs. i can make out 10 but j3 says he mite see 12 !!

anaway, its gud ta know that theres is others thana 100 cowhorns and 90lb does in our swamp ;D

Good luck to ya!  8)  I remember tracking around a big swamp buck here.  Almost black he was so dark.  Had him in my sights and my EX-fiance decided she was cold and came walking up to my blind across a field.  The big guy ran between me and her...  It was tempting, but I restrained myself.  Needless to say, she never-ever got a nod from me again for hunting.  lol  We didn't marry either. ;)

Good Luck Doc!! We will need a full report on the effectiveness of that obsolete 45-70 cartridge on a nice mature buck.

Looks good gendoc but will look better after a flop-job. Oh, and my memory is going fast. Where did ya say that swamp wuz?  ;D ;D
