45 LC BC pricing?
« on: October 04, 2011, 03:14:43 AM »
The other day I ran across some of these little jems, I shouldered the thing and loved the sights and feel of it.  They are so cute it was all I could do not to instigate a divorce by bringing it home.  Is $307 new and out the door a good price?

I think that's a pretty decent price for that caliber.  I saw one on Guns America for more ($339. plus shipping):

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

It's all about demand and since none have been produced in about two years the price is going to go up.

I love mine, and I guess I'd readily pay the 307 out the door if I didn't have one.  As has been said, they're discontinued and you're lucky to find one.  Why they discontinued such a fine little rifle is beyond me.  A lot of folks ream them to .454 or .460, but I'm leaving mine at .45LC...I like it that way.

I'd say get it while you can.

Pete

I'll call the man today and tell him to pull it off the rack.  I really like that little rifle and it will make an excellent CHRISTmas present for my new grandson.  Damn..... my wife is gonna get hot  :-[ !!!

Do like I do, sneak it into the safe when she's not home, then play dumb. That's the greatest thing about Handi's, I always tell her "this gun?, I had this a long time, I just changed the: _________(barrel, stock, fore-end; you fill in the blank here). ;D
Just kidding, she knows the difference, because she can spot the difference in the frames :P .  As long as you can tell her it's "really" for your new grandson, you'll probably be able to get away with it. ;) ;D
