2012 Calendar poll

It's time for the annual WWW.GBOCannons.com calendar  poll.  Forum members have submitted pictures for consideration for the calendar and we are asking you to vote for the 12 Cannon pictures you would most like to see on the calendar.

The Poll is open to all Members of GBO, not just the Cannon Forum  members. If you can see the poll you can vote.  The poll will run for 29 days.  If I counted the days right it closes October 31--more or less.


The Calendar will be available at the GBO eStore after the poll closes.

Picture #3 the night firing picture is very cool. I better stay out of the cannon forum. I think I could get hooked on that stuff really quick.

The 2009 calendar poll had 49 pictures and 43 votes.

The 2010 calendar poll had 24 pictures and 64 votes

The 2011 calendar poll had  33 pictures and 64 votes

So far three days into the poll we have 45  votes for the 26 pictures...we are way ahead on polling.

Once again you folks have out done yourselves. These are some excellent pictures that I plan to hang on the wall in my office very soon.

Voting trends are way ahead of last year...and no runaway leaders like in the past couple of years.

This is the time when your vote just might mean the difference between whether or not a picture makes the calendar or not...it is that close.

If she can meet the rules of the contest of course...the calendar is about cannons and features cannons but people can be in them also--the cannon has to be the featured object-not the person.

The best pix are those with PEOPLE in them - by putting folks in the picture it adds perspective, scale and context.  It is often more difficult to photograph though.

The best pix are those with PEOPLE in them - by putting folks in the picture it adds perspective, scale and context.  It is often more difficult to photograph though.

Yes of course something to add perspective is great, but the calendar post is about cannons not people and that is the point.  If you are going to have a calendar for cannons have a calendar about cannons.  Yes show people shooting cannons, but lets just skip the pandering...
