Question about brass
« on: October 14, 2011, 08:52:10 PM »
I got some nickle 357 mag brass today that is WRA headstamp but the kicker is that it has large primer pockets.

Can anyone tell me about this stuff? Never seen 357 brass with large primer pockets

Headstamp just says  W.R.A. S&W 357 Magnum

Read an article in Handloader magazine a while back about S&W Registered 357s.  As a side note, the author indicated that for the first few years after the creation of the 357 mag, mid-1930s, it used a large primer.
