Very nice Swampy... funny thing is neither of them are Remingtons.   ;D
 
My pair is a Marlin 1894C and Ruger Blackhawk.  I feed them 158gr Hornady XTP over 15gr of H110.

I am partial to Rugers.  I have an 1894C and a 6" blued security six.  I haven't had the chance to hunt with my carbine yet, but the Ruger has done a number on several whitetails.
