I am curious about the basis of the celeberties lists.  Have all these people come out in public against gun ownership.  I am not at all being critical of the list, just curious.

Thanks,

Smoky

Steve. this is all good info but what about putting a positive swing on things and giving us a link to lists of pros instead if you have anything.  I would much rather deal with companies and people who see things my way.

These lists just drive home the point that being rich, famous, powerful, influential, or even intelligent doesn't prevent one from being blissfully ignorant of a particular body of facts.

If these people really believe that life without firearms is even possible, let alone desireable, then let them begin by advocating the disarmament of our police and military as an example of how we can live in peace without killing and injuring people with guns. What, does that sound moronic? Of course it does, but that will not stop the ignorant or hypocritical voices in our midst who choose only to see what they wish to see.

Guns are not for everyone, especially the criminal and emotionally disturbed segments of our population. But restricting firearms as a blanket approach will not make guns go away nor prevent them from harming humans. What we need are more people who understand and accept firearms, know the power and proper use of them, and have the conviction to refrain from using them on humans unless life and limb are threatened.
There is no more humbling experience for man than to be fully immersed in nature's artistry.

Someone mentioned on another site that some of the most violent places in our society are prisons. Places where guns and other weapons are not allowed. Food for thought???
Just another worthless opinion!!

Well there you go. Most of these celebrites have no problems to use guns and violence in there movies to get us and are children to spend our bucks to make them super rich, but shame on us to own a gun for protection, targets, or hunting. I have already personally boycotted some movies due to the "stars" that are in them, I will these other to my boycott list of movies I won't  see.

I find it odd that under the organizations list there is a listing for American Firearms Association.

Also the Catholic church should worry less about the guns and watch the priests!
