I bought ny son a 22 LR / 20 Ga matched pair.  The 22 is pretty darn accurate.  The 20 gauge kicks pretty good though.  It has a synthetic stock, and is a youth model, so it's pretty light.

Paid $100 brand new after rebate a few years ago.  Well worth the price.

Don't know how the centerfire rifles are, but I am pleased with the rimfire.

I just bought the 22lr/410 youth combo. I love the little gun. I bought it because there is no option for a 22lr for my handi. I like it so much I think I might get the 22lr/20ga/44mag. I love my handi 223, but the Rossis have some advantages. Then I would like more handis too.

Bought my son matched pair .22/.410 wood stock, .22 is very accurate, .410 barrel is modified choke , took my now 10 year old son shooting last sat, he was shooting winchester super X slugs and buck , the accuracy of both was very good slugs and buck shot to point of aim out to 25 yards in fact he shot a 3x5 size target  at that range and all 3 buck pellets hit the target virtually no recoil, the 20 gauge is another story it can have brutal recoil with stiff loads because the gun is very lightweight but a hell of deal for the money in fact i am planning on picking up another to make into a dedicated pack and camp gun.

I'm an H&R/NEF fan, I also own a Rossi 50Cal ML.  I think Rossi is a decent gun for the price.  It shoots with acceptable accuracy.
The big gripe, I hear about Rossi is their customer service.
Also don't hold your breath, if your waiting on interchangeable barrels for the Rossi Wizard.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

Do these guns come with a special case to hold the barrels and actions?

I got my niece a 22/29 gauge for Christmas 2 years ago. Scoped the 22 barrel and was initially disappointed with the accuracy (we are a family that exclusively head shoots our squirrels) until I tried high velocity Remington Thunderbolts. Then it became a one ragged hole at 50 yards shooter (I gave her 3000 of them with the gun). The solution to the recoil problem on the 20 gauge is an old sock full of BB's in the stock. Adds about a pound and a half and tames the recoil to normal 20 gauge range.

I've got a matchd pair of Model 92 lever actions. One s .357 Magnum and one is .44 Magnum. Both have round 20" barrels. I used to have one in 45 Colt too, sure wish I'd held onto it.

My earlier post should say 22/20 gauge. Typing this stuff on an iPhone is tricky...
