Armorer77, is this going to be more than a "one of a kind" build? Looks pretty nice, even before paint!  ;D , BoomLover

Looks really nice, bet it's fun to shoot too.  What does something like that weigh and (gulp) what do they cost?

The chambers are tight .  .007" dia.  Length + or - .003" The fit was resolved by a sliding breech block which has behind it a wedge with a mating taper cut into the breech . Providing as near as possible , 100 % support of the chamber .  Ed

armorer77,

Is that a free cylinder that rides in a pocket behind the removable chamber, pressing the chamber tight to the bore with a sliding wedge?

That is it . My design dilemma was how to allow the chamber move forward far enough to seal while allowing enough travel  to slide back far enough to come out while maintaining reciever integrety between the loading window and the wedge slot .  The answer was a spacer .  :o  Ed
