Finally...someone else that owns a TC Treehawk!!  It was my 1st muzzloader, and a very good one at that.  For deer hunting I was shooting 275gr maxi-ballets(a conical HP) with 90gr Pyro.  I also mounted a scope on my gun a 4xsimmons.  I was shooting 2 inch groups at 100.  I shot a 142B&c net buck last year 264lbs FIELD DRESSED, 30yards...went down hard, 20yards.  Everyone laughed at my little camo gun, until they saw the deer I was shooting with it.  Not many people in Ont. hunt with muzzleloaders.

Hey 209x50 the Treehawk was my first muzzleloader too.I put a scope on it last year and it shot all over the place no consistency I was shooting 85 gr. of fff with a 350 gr. maxi-hunter. I'll have to try your combo I only use it once in a while now but it is a fun little gun. I don't see to many of them.

Thanks 209x50

I shoot a White Mtn. Carbine, same gun without the camo.  Real handy little walking gun, and real deadly.

Can any of you Gentlemen tell me the twist rate for the Treehawk? Walked into a local dealer today and he had a used one sitting on the shelf (seasons over and looks like some guys are blaming there guns...lol). Looks like it was carried some and shot little. Got it for $90. I figure for a range/play/spare gun, and being a T/C, that was hard to beat. Thanks for any info. :D
