It is a Jim Chamber kit of a Virginia rifle. Put together by Steve Zihn. I am shooting 90 grains of 3f goex and cast 320 ball, patched with ticking. I shot her the other day after the end of early muzzle season. Put two shots within an inch of each other on the bulls nose. I love this rifle.

When I first got it I believe the vent hole (White lighting) was two small, got a few misfires, after Steve opened it up just a tad I have yet to have a misfire.

Thank you for posting these photos. I have an Early Virginia on order from TVM. It will come with a .62 calibre smooth bore...you just showed me how it should look when its done. From the TVM photo I had an idea what it would look like...

From your photo...it looks Awesome-a-licious.

Thank you again.

As to the flag. I found it crumpled in the bottom of someone elses boxes I am not sure if it was the previous owners of the house we bought or at a yard sale but it hurt me to see it in that state.
I have it folded correctly and placed in a prominent place of honor for all those young and old that have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanastan

j two dogs thank you for honoring our warriors and the flag for which we stand.

The way it is folded is proper, I assumed there was someone in the family who had fallen in service.

I believe this would be a trade gun, ie. smoothbore.  Typically they have a bead like a shotgun.  ;)
