Thinking about cutting barrel down to 19 inches.
« on: November 19, 2011, 07:20:43 PM »
Just picked up a 20 guage USH from the classidfieds here. It shoots great. Hornady SSTs Group under 2 inches at 100 yards. It shoots Brennke KOs descent as well . Under 4 inches at 75 yards, Its got the 24 inch barrel. Im really thinking about cutting down the Barrel to 19 inches, just to make it handier in a tree stand. Most if not all shots will be 100 yards. How much velocity will I lose,
I dont care what gun Im using as long as Im hunting

I cut my 20g USH down to 20" and I feel it's perfect. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
