Wow.
Our drummers friend moved to California a couple of years ago. He heard one of our songs on-line and loved it.
He just got a show on Comedy Central and wants to use the song during the closing credits. He's paying to liscense the song, we get paid every time the song airs and he wants to fly us out to California, all inclusive, to play live at the premiere.
I am leaving Saturday morning to go hunting so I will be in the recording studio sometime this week after work.
I am so stoked I have goosebumps just telling the story.
We are in the process of shopping for a QUALITY studio that can get us in that quickly, and looking for a music oriented attorney to go over the paperwork before we sign anything.
We do not have a contract yet so I guess anything can happen but it is in the works.
Please, everyone keep your fingers crossed for me.
