Reloading for a 37mm launcher
« on: October 31, 2011, 06:12:53 AM »
Our team uses 37mm less lethal launchers. Training on these weapons gets pretty expensive as the rounds cost $25.00 each. We found a way to reload using a cut down .44mag shell with 9 grains of black powder, the problem is black powder is so corrosive. We are looking for load data using smokeless powder to cut down on the amount of cleaning. Does anyone have any experience or load data for reloading these type of rounds?

Are you using an adaptor of some sort?  I guess you are, obviously.  Are you propelling anything?

No adapter. It is an indepentdent weapon system (the ARWEN, in case you are wondering). We use it to fire the 37mm launchable baton rounds.
