I just got mine in last week and haven't had a chance to use it yet. My dogs go crazy when I use the rabbit squeal or the coyote pup yelp. I am going to try to get up early in the morning and call some up behind the house. I'll let you know how it does.

Didn't get to go this morning. The neighbors dogs were in the backyard. They live about .5 miles away. I was tempted to let them have it, but I would never shoot a house dog with anything other than a pellet gun. I will try this evening.

I bought mine from Cabelas. It is pretty loud. It seems to vibrate when you get it too loud. I haven't tested the range on the remote yet. I am going to try to go behind the house when my wife goes to work in about 45 min.

There were so many squirrels out this afternoon when I used it. I heard something that sounded big come up through the hollow and stop. I turned in my treestand and I heard it bolt. I don't know if it was a squirrel or a coyote.
One cool thing about the call is you can take the speaker out and there is a usb port. You can save the 10 mp3's that are on the card, erase the ones you don't want, and put your own mp3 calls on the card.

Hi there,
I got mine from Cabelas about two weeks before Christmas and I LOVE IT!!! the Remote works out to at least 150 yds measured with a laser rangefinder, thats as far as I have tried it . Its pretty tight cover where I hunt except for the edges of the cut overs I haven't really started calling because Deer season is still open and I dont want some sucker shooting me for Bigfoot or something. When the orange guys get out of the woods I will get serious with the calling and trapping .  the volume seems sufficient  and sounds clear and life like( My wife shut me down when I tried the K-9 pup distress said it sounded too real and she is real tenderhearted) I own a tape system also and the ease of the predation has put it in the closet! its about the size of a small 6Volt flashlight and that all of it. I dont think I could be more satisfied.

thanks for the replies.. my friend got one from cabelas. we played with it for a couple of days and all of a sudden the remote stopped working,or at least the unit wouldn't respond to it, so he called cabelas and sent it back. we're waiting for the replcement so we can put it to the test.. if i like it i will get my own
