Never tried this. What kind of foot trap do you like to use? Any advise to speed my learning curve would be appreciated.

Shawn, I use #1 stoploss in the feeder huts.I usually set on the feed pile they have inside.
Can you set in the feed huts?

We can set what I know as a pushup if we bring the trap from the bottom up and don't disturb the pushup. Last year I set near them with baited 110's with good success. I want to try it with foot traps for something different. I still will set a baited body gripper near them, but a single spring 160. My catch ratio with them is greatly improved.

Ok, you will be-- SLEEVING.If you can feel their feeding spot--as you come up into the hut, place your trap right on it. Don't be afraid to move the vegetation around.

Thanks for the info Tom. I set traps today and there were not the pushups like last year. There were just as many huts as last year. I made baited body grip sets. It might have been trapped during the fall. Will find out Saturday.
