 This a “must read” for anyone concerned about infringements against the 10th Amendment and federal encroachments in general – like road closures, Wild Lands and Monument designations, mining and other resource uses. In other words, this is for anyone and everybody with an interest – no matter how casual -- in accessing the public lands, either as a “resource user” (a rancher or miner) or simply a casual vacationer who enjoys weekend camping......

The feds have their fingers in too many pies and need shut down. Sourdough has told some horror stories of feds abusing their power in Alaska too. POWDERMAN.

If we had more people in authority standing up to unjust intrusions by the Feds, we might not be where we are today.
 
I was told the story that when Patton was at Ft. Benning, Ga. prior to WWll, his soldiers were crossing the river to Phenix City, Ala. and getting locked up in mass, until someone came and bailed them out.  He finally had enough, and had a tank parked on the 14th St. bridge leading from Columbus to P.C., and sent word over to release his men or else.  This was a case where the Feds. solved a local problem, but the point is, more people have to stand up, who are in a position to actually do something.  Good for this sheriff.

Happy to see my couty's sheriff on board as well (Brown,Skamania County, WA). It seems that he is aware of the possibility of a national police force. Don't we already have one with the FBI and US Marshalls? Is this the force that chairman "0" was refering to, larger and as well equipped as the military?
 
 If our lawmakers were more intent on adhering to the Constitution and enforcement of our nations laws and sovereignty, would this force even be necessary?
