The Bangor Daily News compiled a list of some good Maine words:

Some of the words are New England words or old fashioned words but others are specific to Maine only. My girlfriend lives in Maine, I grew up in Mass so it took me a little while to learn all of the meanings of the funny Maine words that she uses.
