where do yall buy your atv parts at i need to rebuild the rear end for a 2001 honda foreman 450 es.or would just buy a complete rear end if the price was right.

dont really know what you have but if its a shaft drive with a ring and pinion you might want to consider a complete unit unless youve set up ring and pinions before. It can be a daunting task for someone who knows what there doing. Its really not a job for someone who has to ask.

Something of that scale I would buy at a motorcycle/atv junkyard. Normally my parts come from ebay or biker bandit. I don't know of a place that sales rear end parts for an atv. As Lloyd recommended, I would look for an entire assembly. I can set up rear ends, but would not attempt an atv due to lack of experience and new parts. Would be a double pain in the butt to try to get used parts wore a certain way to mesh with what you have that wore a different way. As well as a place to find the bearings, shims and seals.


BTW did a quick search on ebay motors and there are a few complete assemblies listed. Good luck.

A lot of times you can buy new assemblies cheaper than individual parts as in this case.  #3 I believe is the complete assy as it contains everything in the outline.  Used is convenient if you have a supplier close at hand so that you can inspect what you're buying.  Otherwise it's a crapshoot.  I would suggest you call to double check availability and application.  Most parts I get from here are drop shipped from the manufacturer or a storage warehouse.  Delivery sometimes takes a little longer because of this but you get factory original parts.
