It really depends on why you are buying it.  If you intend to compete eventually, many competitions for BP revolvers specify fixed sights.  If you want it for your own plinking fun, go with what you enjoy.

Adjustable for target shooting and fixed for carry.

For plinking and hunting I would go adjustable sights for the ease to change loads/powders and get sighted in. Competition shooters, as in CAS, you need fixed sights and you have to be certain of your powder/charge you are gonna stick with and file the front sight to POA. It is a hard chore to put metal back on a sight, so if plinking/hunting is your game, I suggest adjustable sights and BTW, I like stainless too. It has a small drawback of glare, but you can easily see any dirt and crud when you clean them. If you shoot every week like I do, the ease of seeing dirt on the stainless is helpful, plus no noticable holster wear either.

"...you can never have too many guns", eh?

How come that arguement doesn't work with my wife...even when I offer to buy her one too?   :?

Chris, my wife gets a new gun every year, and I trade in her chainsaw every three (haha) She ALWAYS lets me use them.
