Mine was an older over bore and I had it reamed to .445. It is a superb shooter with 240 gr. XTPs and 240 gr. SWCGCs .433 dia. from Montana Bullet Works. I seldom shoot mags in it any more, but I do load some SMs down to mag level. Go ahead an ream it. You've got nothing to loose and lots to gain.
I'm not from Indiana, but a short time ago, there was a discussion here about calibers for Indiana deer. At the time, the .445 was something like a thou or two too long. Did I hear they were changing that?
