new Texas cannon builder
« on: December 14, 2011, 03:59:06 AM »
Hello to all!
I'm a 48 year old kid that loves making and shooting anything. I am a toolmaker at a nuke plant during the day but moonlight as a toymaker in my fairly well equiped machine shop at home. I have both manual and cnc mills and lathes, and am currently finishing up my fourth 2.75" bore black powder cannon. I was directed to this site from another forum that suggested that if I have a cannon question, this is the spot!
There are some awesome pictures of members toys, and I love it!
have fun

Welcome aboard........ :)

Look up Zulu, he is another cannon maker.  His neighbors have been trying for years to make him move.  ;D

I've been reading a bunch of Zulu's posts and been to his website. Very Cool. I've read back to about the 12th page of posts and am already saturated with improvements for my latest cannon. I'll try to post some pictures of my work in progress.
thanks
