Interarms Mark X Bolt Action Rifle
« on: December 19, 2011, 05:49:28 AM »
Since Interarms is no longer in business I have been trying to locate a source to obtain parts for a Mark X Cal 243 bolt action.  Would appreciate any help in locating a bolt for this rifle.  Thanks........Buckala

Since the Mark X is a Mauser 98, the proper action/bolt length bolt with the right size (standard cartridge, not belted magnum) bolt face will fit - but the headspace should be checked by a gunsmith, & "adjusted" if needs be, prior to ANY firing.

Try Numrich Arms.

I contacted Numrich Arms.  They had a bolt for the mark X listed on their website but it was sold out.  I called their customer service and they could not tell me if they would have more in the future, and could not give me any recommendations for alternate sources.  I also sent an email to Zastava Works but have not had any response to date.  Hopefully somebody is still supplying parts for this rifle.  Thanks......Buckala

Would that not be the same as the Remington 798?  Maybe check with Brownell's?

European American Arms is now importing them>perhaps you can give them a call. I have gotten great support from them with my Tanfoglio pistols. Good luck.
