M92 SCOUT MOUNT

i am thinking about putting a leupold scout scope on one of my rifles. i have a rossi m92 44 mag and a puma m92 454  first i need to send it out to be drilled and tapped for the mount, any suggestions on who to send it to? and second which mount do i go with ,i see rossie sells one as does weaver and possibly xs among others.

You didn't mention how old your rifles are, but I believe all the newer Rossi's are already drilled and tapped for their scout mount.  Take off the rear sight and there should be 4 holes underneath it.

If one or both rear barrel sight dovetails are approx 4" from the face of the receiver, the XS Sights LeverScout Mount weaver-style rail for the Winchester 94 can be used via D/T'ing two 6-48 holes atop the front receiver ring inline with the bore.
 
The Rossi Scout Mount can also be used, but the holes need to be D/T'd in the barrel, using the mount as a guide/template.
