Super Blackhawk 44mag sight?

It seems I have run out of adjustment on my rear sight. At 25 yds I am not even hitting the target. I'm not talking poor groups.... I'm not even hitting paper.  I have got the sight all the way to the left and still hitting left in the back stop. Any suggestions? I have tried 3 types of ammo all 240 gr jhp but none could get me on target.

Move the rear sight in the direction you want to change the POI.  Moving the sight up raises the POI............

Yep, if your rear sight is a long ways left you should be hitting left.  Move it to the right to make it shoot to the right.

Yes. You move the REAR sight in the direction you want the group to move. No wonder you're shooting off the paper to the left.

Boy do I feel stupid. Its been a while since shooting something with iron sights... I thought the rule of thumb was to chase your shot. Shooting left means adjust left. Shooting right adjust right. Scratch that. Thanks for being helpful y'all and not jumping the idiot here... :-[ ;) ;D

Whether you're moving the front or rear sight, pretend the gun's locked into a vise, and you're moving the sight to look at the bullet hole you made in the target. Gun's still shooting the same, you just move the sites to line up with the point of impact.

That would be correct if you were referring to moving the front sight.  You move the rear sight the way you want the bullet to move.  BTW, no problem, we all have temporary episodes of senility from time to time.
