:toast: I've been talking up German Wirehaired Pointers  a lot. I put money down on a puppy to be born this spring. It'll be from a kennel in nothtern Wisconsin. I did some research and visited the kennel and was impressed by breeder and dogs.
Now my wife wants me to do some remodeling to the house before it comes. :eek:

Is the breeder going to pick your pup for you?If so did he ask your color and sex preference?Be sure to post us a picture when you get him, Harley

:eek:  I plan to pick my own. I have second choice of the females. Color is not important to me although I like those two toned dogs. I don't want the most active or boldest. I wouldn't mind the most affectionate one. I'm looking for a dog with a strong desire to please and easily trained. Thats why I looked at the NAVHDA test scores of the parents keeping in mind the skill level of the trainer.
