Model 94s on sale
« on: November 10, 2011, 09:16:54 AM »
A local shop here in Huntsville, AL has Model 94s on sale for $269.  They only have the SS in .22mag and the .22lr is only availible in 5 inch blue.  Is this a better than average price now a days?  I can't justify a S&W, but would love to have a .22 revolver.

Sounds like a good price to me, around here they are about 100 bucks higher than that. Have a 94  22 lr 4 inch and while its not the quality of my 17 Smiths it is a good gun for the money. You could get 3 of them for the price of 1 S&W.

I have one with a 2" barrel that is a ultra lite. I like it, It is a fun little gun.
I also like the fact it is a 9 shot.

I have a 4" mdl 94. It does everything I need done with a .22 revolver. Bought it about 4yrs ago, used but LNIB for $175. Keep it loaded with two rat shots and seven subsonics to keep the snake population in check here on the homestead.

I have had a stainless 2" mod. 94 for several years now.  I like it more all the time.  Never had an issue with it except the trigger pull was stiff and hard to shoot accurately at first.  Now its had enough ammo shot thru it that the trigger pull has smothed out a lot.
